A native of Columbia Missouri, I have always enjoyed and have a deep appreciation for the art of photography. I graduated from Columbia College with a BS in Business Management and studied photography enjoying the creative process of hand developing film and creating portraits in the dark room. Digital photography has opened up a whole new world of creativity. I have a wonderful and supportive husband and am blessed to be the mother of two outstanding sons.

For over 20 years I have truly enjoyed the opportunity to photograph families, expectant parents, infants, children, teens, couples, high school seniors, sports, events and even our furry friends. I cherish the families that have come back tome year after year watching their family and children grow. I pride myself in being the number one preschool and daycare photographer in Mid Missouri giving schools quality and creative portraits. I enjoy the children and patiently work with each child to get those wonderful expressions and smiles and provide to parents a wonderful variety of images. I feel honored to photograph your children and your family capturing them and the emotion of their expressions at this moment in their lives.

Communication is very important to me. We will have time to go over any suggestions you might have for your portraits before the session. Maybe something you may have seen before or a style you'd like to create that's all your own. Please share your vision with me. I will work to incorporate all ideas into our session. My personal style is to create a fun, relaxed, non-pressured environment for you and your family. I appreciate the opportunities to document, celebrate, capture and share in your extraordinary worlds and lives.

Located on the east side of Columbia my custom built studio features a large shooting area with countless background options enhanced with a wonderful northern light. I am available to travel to your home or another location and am happy to suggest some great locations.
